Crondon Park opens new outdoor restaurant
We are delighted to introduce our new outdoor restaurant at Crondon Park. As summer approaches and warmer weather comes our way, it’s time to enjoy Pizza on the Green…
The location
Pizza on the Green is our new outdoor restaurant in the grounds of Crondon Park. The Crondon Park estate boasts fantastic views of the rolling countryside, an esteemed eighteen-hole golf course and our award-winning barn wedding venue, The Baronial Hall.
The restaurant is situated in prime position to overlook our perfectly maintained golf course. The outdoor ‘Sunset Deck’ allows diners to watch golfers play their approach shots to the eighteenth green and has views of the floodlit putting and chipping greens.
It’s a fantastic location and has a great atmosphere to spend time with your friends and family, or to make the most of some alone time in a wonderful, outdoor environment.
The food & drinks
We strive to cater for everyone and therefore offer a diverse menu with a range of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. We will always do our best to meet dietary requirements.
We offer delicious handmade 12” pizzas with a variety of toppings to cater for everyone – including a vegan option. Our newly installed state of the art woodfired pizza oven uses kiln-dried wood to create an authentic, smoked, Italian flavour. The light and crispy base, delicious tomato sauce and melted cheese are the perfect trio. Keep things simple and enjoy a tasty Margherita or try one of our appetising toppings such as spicy meat feast or roasted vegetables and goat’s cheese.
We also have a range of burgers, all served in a soft brioche bun, including beef, chicken, lamb and a vegetarian option. We also offer warm and filling salads with indulgent toppings including grilled halloumi, avocado and crayfish. Our extensive menu has lighter options too, such as jacket potatoes and toasted paninis.
Our range of breakfast food is perfect to enjoy after an early round of morning golf or to fuel yourself before an afternoon on the course. From a full English to sausage, egg and bacon rolls there’s something for everyone.
If you’re looking for a quick snack, we have fries, bratwurst or toasted teacakes.
To accompany our food options we have a selection of draft and bottled beer, soft drinks, spirits, house wines and premium wines and champagne.
The important information
Pizza on the Green can accommodate 200 people and there is no need to book. You are welcome to join us for food or simply enjoy a casual drink and a snack. The restaurant does include a covered, tented area too – the British weather won’t stop us!
We provide a takeaway service from the restaurant, but you must attend the venue to order this. We hope to expand to a telephone ordering service in the near future.
