Baronial Hall Weddings
The Baronial Suite at Crondon Park is comprised of ‘The Baronial Hall’, which was built circa 1600 out of original ships timbers. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of a Tudor/Jacobean light oak beamed barn. Now known as the ‘Baronial Hall’, this beautiful venue in Essex has its own dedicated kitchens and toilet suite. It has a unique charm and has become one of the most popular barns in the county.
The Baronial Hall is fully air conditioned and temperature controlled .
To enhance the classic effect of our distinctive barn venue, we purchased its rosewood floor from County Hall, near Westminster Bridge, London. We had it laid ancient style in bitumen, and we are told that we have one of the rarest wood block floors in the United Kingdom, which makes all the difference to guests who are looking for a truly special barn for their upcoming wedding or any other special occasion. The main chandeliers are replicated from that period and add a sense of grandeur. The hall underwent extensive refurbishment and improvements in 1995. The walls were constructed with modern thermal materials, which makes the acoustics similar to a recording studio, meaning it’s great for music.
There is a fully stocked bar with open access to the main hall, adjacent to an external seating area. The hall, bar and gardens have themed lighting, to match the colours you have chosen for your special day.
The Ryder Room was built some twenty years ago, and this complements the main hall. As it is attached to the main hall, this is where we perform wedding ceremonies. There is a Bridal Suite that leads directly to the Ryder Room.
There is direct access to the half-acre private garden, perfect for wedding photographs. When the weather allows, we have built an amphitheatre style setting, under a floral canopy, which makes the ideal garden setting for the ceremony.
The whole suite is offered on an exclusive basis. For more information, or to book your our stunning venue, please contact our team today.
