Baronial Hall Weddings

Crondon Park shortlist 2019 Best of Bridebook Platinum Award 2023

Our main function room known as The Baronial Hall, was built in 1606. Constructed out of light oak original ships timbers, now considered by many to be one of the finest examples of a Tudor/Jacobean Barn.

Baronial Hall

The Baronial Suite comprises of ‘The Baronial Hall’, Ryder Ceremony Room, dedicated kitchens and fully stocked integral bar. The Venue has a unique charm and has become one of the most popular Function Barns in the country.

The Baronial Hall is fully air conditioned and temperature controlled.

To enhance the classic effect of our distinctive venue, we acquired a Rosewood Floor from County Hall, Westminster Bridge, London. It was laid in County Hall 130 years prior to us acquiring it. It is laid in the original style, set in bitumen, we are told that we have one of the rarest wood block floors in the United Kingdom. The Halls history is truly unique, perfect for all special occasions. The main chandeliers are replicated from that period and add a sense of grandeur. The Baronial Hall underwent extensive refurbishment and improvements in 1995. The walls were reconstructed with modern thermal materials, which makes the acoustics values similar to a recording studio, it also allows us to temperature control the hall.

Please call Fiona or Kara to book a convenient time to view our beautiful venue on 01277 843034.

These packages are extremely popular and offer true value for money. Please look at the “Fully Inclusive Wedding” section, to find out what the package includes.

There is a fully stocked bar with open access to the main hall. It is important that everyone is retained in the same area for the atmosphere of your party. Adjacent to the bar is an external seating area, when weather allows. The hall, bar and gardens have themed lighting, to match the colours you have chosen for your special day.

The Ryder Ceremony Room was built some twenty years ago, and this complements the main hall. Everything is contained under one roof, so you are protected from the elements. You also have use of Willows, a private lockable room, with toilet facilities.

There is direct access to the half-acre private garden, perfect for wedding photographs. When the weather allows, we have built an amphitheatre style setting, under a floral canopy, which makes the ideal garden setting for the ceremony.

The whole suite is offered on an exclusive basis. For more information, or to book our stunning venue, please contact The Events Team.

“We got married at Crondon last Friday and we cannot find the words to express how truly amazing our day was. We did the booking and planning through Fiona who was lovely and on the day we had Deborah who was just incredible - nothing was too much trouble and she really put us both at ease. The food was amazing and all of our guests commented on this as well as the beautiful venue. Wish we could do it all again. Thanks so much to everyone for really making this the best day of our lives.”
